Accounting Team Highlight

November 10th was International Accounting Day! In honor of this day we have decided to highlight our accounting team and all the great work they do for Sewer Equipment.

History of International Accounting Day

Before we dive into the fantastic work our accounting team does let’s look back at the history and the beginnings of International Accounting Day. On November 10th, 1494 Luca Pacioli published the book Summa de arithmetica, geometrica, proportioni et proportionalita. This was the first written work that the profession of accounting was based on. Pacioli is known as the ‘Father of Accounting’ as most his methods of bookkeeping are still used today.

Sewer Equipment’s Accounting Team

We are so grateful for all the hard work that our accounting team does for Sewer Equipment each and everyday. To express our gratitude to the team we have decided to spotlight them and their duties with an accounting team highlight.

Stephanie Heath is the controller and has been with Sewer Equipment for almost 11 years. She has received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. During the work day she can be found preparing the consolidated financial statements, providing support to the accounting team, and fielding information requests that come in from other departments. In her free time she loves to spend time with her husband and their two daughters.

Kristalle Stumpf has been with Sewer Equipment for 6 years now and is the senior accountant in the department. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. During her work day you can find her filing sales tax, MSO/titles plus monthly reporting, and completing journal entries. When she is not working you will find her spending time with her three children.

Pisa Stewart is the revenue accountant at Sewer Equipment. She has been with us since July 2021 and received a degree from Sauk Valley Community College. Throughout the day you will find her taking care of all aspects of customer accounts within accounts receivable.

Kailyn Alleven is an accountant at Sewer Equipment and handles expense reports, reconciling credit card statements, invoicing orders, and creating MSO’s. In her free time, she enjoys watching sports, cooking, watching documentaries, watching her daughter be involved in numerous activities, wine tasting, and kayaking.

On this International Accounting Day, and every day, we thank our team for your hard work and dedication to Sewer Equipment of America!
