Dan Freed – Service Manager

Meet Dan Freed, our dedicated Service Manager at Sewer Equipment. With a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science Education and extensive experience, Dan has been an integral part of our team since November 2022. Drawing on his seven years as a Plant Manager for a Precast Concrete Company and his previous roles at Sewer Equipment, including Quality Engineer and Test Supervisor, Dan brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. As Service Manager, he oversees warranty and claims, releases service updates, and provides technical support to customers and dealers, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Dan’s commitment extends beyond the workplace; he enjoys camping and cherishes spending quality time with his family. With Dan’s expertise and passion, we’re confident in delivering top-notch service to our valued customers.

Peter O’Rorke – Technical Support

Peter O'Rorke, Technical Support

With 11 years of hands-on expertise, Peter is an expert in Technical Support. His responsibilities include assisting dealers and end-users with repair issues and diagnostics, utilizing schematics, vendor manuals, and extensive knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. Peter holds multiple hydraulic/electrical training certificates, a welding certificate from Kishwaukee College, and training certificates in Myers and Giant water pumps. Beyond work, Peter enjoys billiards, embraces the outdoors, is an equestrian enthusiast, and enjoys spending time with his grandkids.

Jeff Rumph – Customer Service Technician

As a dedicated Technical Support Technician, Jeff plays a crucial role in helping customers resolve equipment issues quickly and efficiently, thereby minimizing downtime and ensuring operations run smoothly. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, and a Certificate in Industrial Electronics—bringing a strong blend of technical knowledge and business insight to his work. Outside of the office, Jeff enjoys working on his classic cars, attending car shows, and spending quality time with his grandchildren. His passion for both problem-solving and personal connection makes him a valued member of the team.

Doug Mikan – Customer Service Technician

Doug Mikan

Since joining Sewer Equipment in 2019, Doug has steadily progressed within the company, starting on the Combo production line, then transitioning into a supervisory role, and now serving as a Technical Support Representative. With a strong background in hands-on technical work and leadership, Doug provides crucial support to operators, dealers, municipalities, and technicians. His impressive list of certifications, including those in hydraulic systems, welding, OSHA, and Lean practices, demonstrates a commitment to safety and expertise. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling, working on cars, and exploring the outdoors through activities such as disc golf.

Jared Head – Technical Support Representative

Jared Head

Jared is a Technical Support Representative with a strong background in troubleshooting and resolving customer issues. In addition to providing technical assistance, he develops clear technical documentation to support users. Jared has degrees in Agricultural Business and Agricultural Engineering from Illinois State University and has spent most of his career in customer service and technical support roles. Outside of work, he enjoys restoring and operating antique tractors and farm equipment, as well as working on and managing his family farm.
